The holidays are a crazy time. We worry about presents, and decorating (for me I'm finishing the last few thousand words on Bound in Evil. We, at Secret Cravings Publishing, would like to give back to the men and women who have served our country during this holiday season. So during this blog hop, for thirty comments, each of us is giving $30 to the Wounded Warrior Project. Its a wonderful worthwhile charity.

For me the holiday season means being together with my family, enjoying great meals, lots of laughter and generally a good time. I can't take out just one memory, there are many of them. But the warm feelings and cheer.

Favorite Christmas memory....this is strange, but one Christmas Eve, after services at church, my sis and I got in a fight and she knocked one of my loose baby teeth out. Both Santa and the Tooth Fairy showed up that night:)

My favorite Christmas memory is the year we surprised my mom with a microwave. After opening all our presents, dad suggested we watch some home movies & asked mom to get the screen out of the closet. She opened the door, saw the microwave box on the floor & fainted.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone involved in recognizing & supporting our military heroes.

I remember my Gpa and I always going out to cut the Christmas tree. He liked pine, even though I thought they were so spindly! He took his saw and we walked the woods till we found just The One. Good times indeed!
