Happy Short Work Week

Happy short work week for me, I just have today and tomorrow and then I'm off until next week! Hoping the creative juices will be flowing. My muse has taken a vacation.

So today I'm writing about how there is a show on my DVR which keeps on piling up but I have no desire to watch it lately but don't know if I want to delete the recording of it yet. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever watched a show for years and years and all of a sudden-Poof- you lose interest? I'm that way right now with the show Supernatural. I've seen it since the beginning but all of a sudden, I'm just not enjoying anymore. It really  makes me sad. But I'm not ready to delete it yet. So I guess, I'll keep the five episodes I'm behind for a day when I want to veg out and catch up.

Speaking of TV, I am really liking Once Upon a Time. The husband likes Grimm better but I look forward to seeing it every week.

Has any new show totally captured your attention this season?

Peace out,
MRD

  1. It's funny because I have a few shows on the DVR I've been trying to decide if I want to delete. I have no interest in continuing watching. Strange because a few I've watched for years.
YAY for a short week. I have Friday off! Hope your muse returns from vacation.

  2. I have bunches of shows piled up on DVR and I keep thinking I'll watch them someday. I will.

I've turned that way with a few authors too. I used to buy EVERYTHING they wrote, then I stopped reading but kept buying because I always bought them. Then I just stopped buying. Sorry, Nora. But I think one bookcase is dedicated to you so it's really not so bad.

Ooh, I was thinking of watching Once Upon a Time or Grimm one of these days.

  3. I borrowed the first season of Supernatural from the library last week. I saw a few episodes but didn't really get into it. I tried Grimm last week. It was good, but not good enough to sacrifice my writing time for. I watched OUAT last night. I just didn't get it.

I've been watching Criminial Minds and Pretty Little Liars (first season for both). I'm hooked on them right now. There used to be a lot of shows I enjoyed watching, but then I grew bored of them.

  4. I have loved "Desperate Housewives" since its beginning, but the show SUCKS this season. The women are just too stupid.
